Good Evening everyone. Just wanted to give you a quick update. We are now up to 160 members of Got Your Six. This number is comprised of multiple members from each branch of the military along with multiple first responders from each of the areas of Fire, Law Enforcement and EMS. This month we’ll be celebrating our 1 year anniversary. From a committee of 12 last October to 160 this October is truly something to celebrate. The Lord is doing a great work among us. So for all our new members we say WELCOME.

I’m aware that everything on our website and all information that comes out says we meet the the 3rd Thursday of every month. The October meeting has been moved to the 4th Thursday which is the 23rd. I will send out another reminder when we get closer but wanted to give you a heads up. We’ll be serving pizza along with beverages and dessert. Hope you can attend. If this will be your first meeting we meet at Life Community Church, 4900 W. Wendover Avenue, Jamestown NC 27282. The time will be 1800 since we are serving food that evening. Meeting will begin at 1830.

Our guest speaker for the evening will be Marine Corps Veteran and Guilford County Commissioner Pat Tillman. Pat is a great guy and he is looking forward to sharing with us on this evening.

I met with Associate Pastor Jason McLeod last week and he is ordering Sweatshirts and Hoodies for us. Hopefully they will be ready and available at our October meeting. The cost will be around 30-40 dollars. You can bring cash or make a check out to Life Community Church if you decide to purchase.

Got Your Six meets this Thursday night at 1800. Hopefully our Hoodies and Sweatshirts will be in. I will know on Tuesday. For those who attend we have special gift for you. Ann and Randy Williams who are members of Life Community have a son currently on active duty in the United States Navy. To honor his service and thanking each of you for yours they have purchased a Honor Arm Band. This band has the the logo of each branch of the military as well as logos for Fire, Law Enforcement and EMS. It also contains 3 American Flags the POW/MIA logo. It’s a great way to remember there are men and women serving all over the world to defend freedom and the others who serve everyday keeping us safe in our communities.

Marine Veteran and Current Guilford County Commissioner Pat Tillman is our Honored Guest Speaker. Pizza will be served at 1800.
